Grief & The Holidays Seminar

Becoming proactive in coping with grief during the holiday season

November 13th

6-7:30pm

Light of the Valley, Room 105 of the back buildings

9270 Bruceville Blvd.

Elk Grove, CA.

As the holiday season fast approaches, so will the commercials on television showing family and friends gathering around the table in a room full of joy and laughter.

Traditions are the center stone of love for family and friends for generations to come. But unfortunately, for many individuals and families who are grieving the loss of a loved one, the holiday season may not have the same meaning. For many it’s a void of that special person in their life who is no longer present. The holiday season can be a painful and lonely experience. For many who are grieving the death of a loved one, if the holiday season could be erased from the calendar, the mounting stress and anxiety would be eliminated.

Unfortunately for those who have suffered a loss, the holiday season is part of life. Learning to cope and develop strategies to embrace the holiday seasons is important.

This seminar will explore ways to soften the impact that the holiday season can present.
